My daughter, Miss B loves to bake, so today she is sharing an easy chocolate cupcake & icing recipe with you. She added a little treat inside the cupcakes too. This was one of her activities from our School Holiday Ideas Jar.
Easy Chocolate Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients: (Makes six cupcakes)
You will need:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar (castor)
2 eggs
1 cup of Self-Raising Flour
2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
Mix together butter and sugar. Add eggs. |
Add flour, & cocoa powder |
Stir it all together |
Spoon the mixture into muffin cups |
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until knife/chopstick inserted into the cupcake comes out clean. Leave to cool and then decorate! |
Easy Icing Recipe
Ingredients:
You will need:
You will need:
1 1/2 cup of icing sugar
1 tablespoon of butter
1-3 teaspoons of water/milk (note: milk will make it smooth)
1 drop of colouring
Method:
Combine icing sugar & butter in a bowl. Once done, add milk a bit at a time until you get the consistency you want. Add colour & spread over your cupcake.
