I look forward to the 10th day of every month, mostly thanks to this inspiring post by Bron at Maxabella Loves. She encourages mothers all around the world to get #inthepicture with their children, and I for one totally love this idea and attempt to get in the picture no matter how I look or feel - leaving all my insecurities behind the camera, and stepping in front of it with a big smile on my face! I know my kids will appreciate it more in the future - when they look at their photos and see me - MUM!
So last month, Bron introduced a little photo game, for those participating in #inthepicture and for JUNE, the prompt has been HANDS - now I have to be honest with you, I completely forgot about the game (oops, my bad) however, I take A LOT of photos, so I perused my JUNE photos and found a few to share today! (YAYE)
Here are my #inthepicture snaps (including HANDS & our standard photos too)!

DeleteThis is adorable Charlene. I love Bron's #inthepicture movement. Thanks for the reminder too! Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Shannon! I love getting #inthepicture now! Bron has inspired me so much :)
DeleteOh gotta love Mummy "me" days! Love Bron's in the picture idea, I just keep forgetting to join in. Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen! My mummy me days are rare, however when I have - I enjoy every single moment, and then love the cuddles I get from my kids at the end of the day!
DeleteI love the idea of #inthepicture Some of my most treasured possessions are photos of me and my mum together when I was a kid. I think it's just as important to get in the picture even as we get older, my mum has got very camera shy in recent years and we have hardly any adult pictures together! That said, I love the one of you, your mum and your kids - three generations of happiness right there!
ReplyDeleteI agree Sammie. I love that my mum is involved and will get in the picture with me..now ive got to work on my Dad. Maybe next month!
