Sadly, this will be my last week co-hosting the Friday Favourites link party with Lisa & Maria. The Friday Favourites link party will continue each week, however after a lot of thought, I have made the decision to leave. I have absolutely loved being a part of this link party and have met some amazing bloggers along the way. 

A special Thank You to my two amazing co-hosts, Lisa and Maria, for your ongoing support and sharing your love for blogging with me and the rest of the world. I wish you all the best in your blogging journey and I know the link party will continue to thrive...because you two are both awesome bloggers.

To kick things off, here are some of my favourite reads from the week...Enjoy!

1.  Claire from Girl On A Mission had me laughing out loud with her post, Yes I am Pregnant, and No I don't care for your dumb questions. It was also one of our most-clicked posts! Definitely worth a read!

2. Another popular post was Kylie Haack's Advice from Real Mothers. - If you are a new Mum, pregnant or planning to be soon...this is a great post with some awesome advice, from Mums who have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly of Motherhood!

3. Snippet: "People say you need to talk or reach out for help. But unless you have had PND or any form of Depression, you don’t want help. You don’t want people in your space or in your face. You just want to get on with life and learn to smile again." A powerful and inspiring post about Post Natal Depression by Izzy and Pea. *A Must Read*

4.  I have bookmarked Grillo Design's post -  Ikea Pax Drawer Under the Bed Toy Storage, have you?  It's such a great idea! While you are there, be sure to check out her AMAZING kitchen. I was lucky to have Medina as a guest on my blog last year and her post DIY Tool Bench is still popular today. 

and recently on Teacher by trade, Mother by nature...I have been a bit quiet on the blog this week, only sharing my Taking Stock - February I have been busy planning and organising my kids birthdays. We are having a party on Sunday morning with friends, then a BBQ dinner in the afternoon with our family. Be sure to follow me on Social Media to see snapshots of the celebrations as they occur over the weekend. One more sleep until my son is TWO and four more sleeps 'til Miss B is 11! Eek

1.  I loved THIS post by CJ at 30 Days of Smiles - "You're more resilient than you think" - Such a great message.

2.  I may not be in a classroom full time, however I am not ready to quit teaching, just yet. Teachers Thriving shared 10 Options to consider before you quit Teaching, including what I am currently doing - specialised teaching, and I love it!

3. Last week my co-host Maria from Happy Mum, Happy Child shared her experience about being at a photoshoot for a magazine! (This was also the most-clicked post)

4.  Lisa (from Lisasaurus) gets personal and shares her feelings about Forgiveness & Addiction. This is a powerful post and a must read.

5. If you have an iPhone, and you want to take better photos - Ever So Britty shares her 10 tips with us. How cool is that? Thanks Brittney.

1.  One of my popular posts this week happens to be my son's First Birthday - A Little Golden Book theme. It's hard to believe we will be celebrating his 2nd birthday in only a few weeks! Time sure does fly.

2. Katrina from Outie NZ had me laughing out loud with her post "Who is the worst flatmate? A tough call but it's toddlers"

3. I have been drooling over the oh-so delicious Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Icing that is on Mummy Do It's blog - A guest post by Kiwi Mummy Lydia from Always Made With Love. And now my daughter wants one for her upcoming 11th Birthday, so I might be getting my bake-on in the next couple of weeks.

4. The Baby View shared 10 Creative Uses for Baby Wipes . I love baby wipes and there are so many uses for them, other than the obvious. Check out the list...can you add any more?

5. I have only just 'met' Kylie Haack, and I love her blog already. A new Mum sharing her thoughts on Pregnancy, Motherhood and extra tidbits of her life. Her post I can't believe I'm actually pregnant brought me to tears, because it made me think of the moment I found out I was pregnant. 

and recently on Teacher by trade, Mother by nature...I shared: My KonMari Journey: KOMONO - Valuables & Electronics and I had the lovely Claire from Girl on A Mission share her Bone-Shaped Cheesy Stick recipe on the blog this morning. I might actually make some this weekend, using different shapes - fun! Can't wait.
